Las Vegas police recently arrested a 36-year old man as part of a sex trafficking sting. According to local sources, the sting took place earlier in December. It was staged on the famed Las Vegas Strip. A woman tried to steal $3,000 from a Las Vegas undercover vice officer. The officer was posing as a potential customer. Brent Keith Rodgers was also located in the hotel. Although he denied being her pimp, he was implicated in the crime though a phone call with the female suspect. The woman was arrested as she left the hotel room. Rodgers was also arrested at that time.
Rodgers was arrested on sex trafficking charges. The female suspect was arrested on charges of theft. However, her name was withheld from any news reports covering the incident.

Carter also instructed the juvenile to require each contact to drink a shot of liquor. This would prove that they were not an undercover officer.
This incident actually goes back to October. The suspect’s arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop at the Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino. The juvenile female was driving a Land Rover with temporary tags. There was another female passenger in the front seat. Carter was sitting in the back seat.
It was later discovered that the underage female was from California. She had come into contact with the other female (age 26) during a previous family vacation to Las Vegas.
