Downtown Las Vegas Casino experienced a major payout last week when one of the slot machines paid out $1,195,000! Golden Nugget Las Vegas is known as “The Heart of Downtown” and offers casino games for those who are 21 years old or older.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas has over 23,000 square feet of gaming space featuring more than 6,000 slot machines to choose from. Last week, another player left Sin City as a millionaire. The lucky guest hit a jackpot worth over $1 million at one of Vegas’s most popular casinos.
It all happened in the Golden Nugget Las Vegas casino on Thursday. According to the casino’s post on social media, the fortunate visitor nailed the jackpot while spinning the IGT’s Wheel of Fortune machine.
The total payout was worth a whopping $1,195,000. The winner chose to remain anonymous and will head back home with a life-changing amount of money in his pocket. So far, the casino has offered no additional information.
The fortuitous player at the Golden Nugget casino wasn’t the only one that left Vegas happy last week.
Also on Thursday, another Vegas guest got lucky. This time the big win came at Green Valley Ranch casino. One of the casino visitors struck gold while playing Dancing Drums slot machine and hit the progressive jackpot worth $172,385.
To make things even more interesting, he won all that money after betting only $8.80. This lucky winner also didn’t reveal his name, but the casino spokesperson noted that he is a holder of the Station Casinos Boarding Pass.
Wheel of Fortune made the day for another Vegas guest. On Wednesday, a woman from Oklahoma had a visit to downtown Las Vegas that she’ll remember as long as she lives.
This fortunate lady was spinning the Wheel of Fortune machine at the Four Queens casino when the big progressive jackpot landed. The woman, who introduced herself as Mary from Catoosa, Oklahoma, won an astonishing $388,327.05.
As things in Vegas are coming back to normal, wins like these are becoming a common occurrence. As the Covid-19 pandemic winds down, more and more guests are coming to Nevada casinos every week. Last week, the Nevada Gaming Board reported the casino numbers for the month of October.
It was another month with over $1 billion of profit, setting the new record for most consecutive months above this threshold. The last time Nevada casinos won more than $1 billion for eight consecutive months was way back in 2007. The profits last month show a 48.5% improvement over the same period last year.
