The picture was prominently displayed in the post in front of the progressive Three Card Poker table where that jackpot was won. The poker table game was part of The Millionaire Progressive and the jackpot was won on a $5 side bet. While playing the game, he was dealt a Royal Flush made up of clubs.
Lance Gautreaux is the senior vice president and US chief casino officer for the Las Vegas Sands Corp. He relayed an official company statement in an email as follows:
“The Millionaire Progressive has paid out more than $5 million this year. That’s five millionaires, made each from a $5 side bet. A huge congratulations goes out to all of our winners so far.”
It was also noted that The Millionaire Progressive is available on Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud, Crazy 4 Poker and Mississippi Stud. The Venetian and Palazzo offer the games as properties of the Las Vegas Sands Corp. Interestingly enough, the Las Vegas Review-Journal is owned by the family of Sheldon Adelson. News About The Venetian Macau and The Parisian Macao
Other news on the site concerning the Sands announced a new partnership in Macau. IHG and Sands China said that The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao have become InterContinental Alliance Resorts. The news release from earlier this week also mentioned that The Londoner Hotel in Macao will join the alliance when it opens in 2020. This property will be a total renovation of the current Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central.
The partnership involves two high-profile casinos with one of the world’s leading hotel companies. This new group will expand reward opportunities for guests of all of these properties.
IHG and The Venetian and Palazzo in Las Vegas also announced a long-term extension of their current alliance. The current partnership has been expanded to 2027 to include all five of the properties mentioned. IHG’s Rewards Club’s membership exceeds 100 million members on a global basis. Member guests visiting any of these five properties will be eligible to earn IHG Rewards Club points. Points can be redeemed at more than 5,600 IHG properties worldwide.
