Sports Betting Indiana

Legal sports betting in the United States continues to expand with Indiana joining the current list. Driving this expansion is strategic partnerships between land-based casinos and sports betting gaming specialists. As reported by www.prnewswire.com, this is the case with Indiana’s first land-based sportsbook.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino is part of Caesars Entertainment as a Las Vegas gaming giant. It has partnered with Scientific Games to launch its retail sportsbook solutions. This is the fifth state where Caesars and Scientific Games have joined forces to deliver sports betting solutions. This partnership is the first of six ventures in Indiana as part of Caesars’ network of real money gambling venues.

The other five properties are still on schedule to open for business later this month. Scrambling to take advantage of the football season, Indiana’s sports betting capabilities will rapidly expand.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will have full betting capabilities with the use of Open Sports. This is Scientific Game’s product suite which powers the casino’s online sports betting offering. The launch includes software solutions that enhance the betting experience with a seamless user application.

Plans include further launches of the Open Sports suite at Horseshoe Hammond and Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino. The sports betting partnership between Caesars and Scientific Games will also be expanded to Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. Also on the list are a trio of off track betting locations in Indianapolis, Clarksville and New Haven.

Previous launches of Open Sports took place earlier this year in the following states:

  1. New Jersey
  2. Pennsylvania
  3. Mississippi

New markets in the mix for the Caesars/Scientific Games sports betting partnership include:

  1. Illinois
  2. North Carolina

No time table was mentioned for the rollout of Open Sports in those two states. Jordan Levin is the Group Chief Executive of SG Digital. His comments on this venture were:

“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Caesars in the US. Open Sports is a great platform that’s shown rock solid performance, putting players at the heart of the betting experience. With Scientific Games’ powerful retail solution and mobile sports product, we’ll continue to take bold steps when it comes to the player experience.”

Adding to the conversation is Christian Stewart. He is the Executive Vice President of Gaming and Interactive Entertainment at Caesars. He stated:

“We’ve had incredibly successful sportsbook launches, and Indiana is continuing that trend. We look forward to seeing Open Sports further engage our players with the sleek user experience and high transaction volume we’ve come to expect from Open Sports.”

Scientific Games has made a name for itself in the gaming industry on a number of different levels. The list includes dynamic games as well as systems and services for:

  1. Casino
  2. Lottery
  3. Online Gaming
  4. Sports Betting

The company remains committed to providing its customers with trusted security and engaging entertainment content. This list also includes solutions for operating efficiencies and innovative technology.

Caesars Entertainment is based in Las Vegas. However, it has grown into the most diverse US casino-entertainment companies from a geographic standpoint.
