Brent Keith Rodgers was also located in the hotel. Although he denied being her pimp, he was implicated in the crime though a phone call with the female suspect. The woman was arrested as she left the hotel room. Rodgers was also arrested at that time.

Rodgers was arrested on sex trafficking charges. The female suspect was arrested on charges of theft. However, her name was withheld from any news reports covering the incident.

This was just the latest incident in a series of Las Vegas sex crimes. They have all led to arrests in the Las Vegas area.

Christopher Mark Damron showed up in recent Las Vegas police records. He is 46 years of age and from Oxnard, California. He was arrested and taken to jail on various charges. They included soliciting a child for prostitution and luring a child for sexual acts.

The man stated that he replied to an online ad for prostitution. His reply actually went to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). It reached an officer posing as a 15-year old girl.

Damron agreed to pay $200 for sex. He was arrested the following day when he showed up at a predetermined location. He told officers that his plans were to go ice skating with the girl.

The was one of 11 arrests as part of various sting operations. The LVMPD has been making a concerted effort to crackdown on internet crimes involving minors. Another arrest was an assistant principal of an elementary school.

Going back to November, police arrested 49-year old Trevor Carter. He was accused of sex-trafficking a juvenile under the age of 18. He was arrested at a casino hotel off the Las Vegas Strip.

Acting as a pimp, he told the underage female to charge $500 for each sex-related contact. She was instructed to approach men with “cowboy buckles and boots.” He called them potentially good customers.

Carter also instructed the juvenile to require each contact to drink a shot of liquor. This would prove that they were not an undercover officer.

This incident actually goes back to October. The suspect’s arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop at the Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino. The juvenile female was driving a Land Rover with temporary tags. There was another female passenger in the front seat. Carter was sitting in the back seat.

It was later discovered that the underage female was from California. She had come into contact with the other female (age 26) during a previous family vacation to Las Vegas.
