A few weeks back the Democratic Party staged a second round of political debates among the top candidates to run for president in the 2020 election. The results of those debates did have an impact on Bovada’s political betting props covering the next US presidential election.
Joe Biden is once again the favorite to win the Democratic nomination at +250 odds after slipping a bit the last time the odds were updated. Elizabeth Warren remains a candidate on the move as a +300 second-favorite while Kamala Harris lost some ground to slip to third at +475 betting odds.
Joe Biden & Elizabeth Warren
Biden has been in the press lately for some questionable gaffs and mistakes on the campaign trail. Yet, he is still second on the list to win the general election at +500 odds. This is actually a slight improvement since earlier this month when he was third at +600.
Warren is also moving up the board in this prop as a +650 third-favorite to become the next president. She moved up from fourth place with betting odds of +800 a few weeks back. It will be interesting to see where both Biden’s and Warren’s numbers move in the coming weeks.
Is Trump Still Favored To Win The 2020 US Presidental Election?
Kamala Harris lost the most ground in this race coming off those recent debates. She went from +500 odds as a second-favorite to fifth on the current list at +1000 odds. Sanders is also at +1000 and Buttigieg is next at +1400. Once again, the odds fall off from there with a grocery list of names still on the betting board.
Pence does show up in this prop at +8000 and another Republican, Mitt Romney is on the list at much longer +20000 odds. The celebrities still holding odds include Oprah Winfrey at +20000 followed by the trio of George Clooney, Ivanka Trump and Kanye West at +100000. These are the longest odds on the board at Bovada.
