There are many facets of the real money online gambling industry involving joint ventures. You have content development providers. You have specialized business solutions providers. You have the online casino operators themselves. Together, these are the movers and shakers driving industry growth through various partnerships all around the world.
Playtech is a technology leader in the gambling and financial trading industries. This company offers the right business solutions for the right technological needs. A recent announcement on the company website, details its latest collaboration with the Fortuna Entertainment Group. This is the largest gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe.
The goal of this group effort was migrating Fotuna’s Sportsbook onto Playtech’s omni-channel platform. The first phase will be expansion into Slovakia using Playtech’s IMS platform.
Future expansion plans for Fortuna’s sportsbook include:
- Czech Republic
These have all be identified as key regulated markets for sports betting. This marks the next step in Fortuna and Playtech’s omni-channel partnership. The two have combined efforts in Central and Eastern Europe since the initial agreement in 2018. The general gist of this latest effort boosts Fortuna’s sportsbook capabilities. Customers will be able to seamlessly access sportsbook funds across both retail and online channels.
Another aspect is Fortuna’s ability to take advantage of Playtech’s Engagement Centre. This includes access to responsible gambling tools. This should create a seamless customer experience. This level of engagement will take place in real time.
The licensing process still needs to be completed. Once that is accomplished, Fortuna will be able to launch Playtech’s award-winning casino suite. This includes a large variety of third-party gaming content across the entire platform. Fortuna will also be able to integrate and personalize content with the help of data-driven customization tools.
The two companies have been actually working together since 2016. This led to the launch of the first online casino site in the Czech Republic.
Per Widerstrom is the CEO of Fortuna. His thoughts on this latest accomplishment were quoted as:
“Our strategic partnership with Playtech is central to growth plans and success so far. This migration is the next stage in Fortuna’s omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe. Fortuna customers can now enjoy a sophisticated and seamless user experience. Playtech’s data driven toolset allows for real time player messaging and engagement. Immediately improving the quality of the player experience and taking our responsible gambling capabilities to the next level.”
Also quoted in the release was Shimon Akad as Playtech Chief Operating Officer. He stated:
“Fortuna’s continued growth trajectory is highly impressive and we are proud to be a strategic partner to one of the foremost operators in Europe.
