Hard Rock Breaks Ground on a New Sacramento Casino

Less than a month after the Hard Rock brand opened a brand new casino and resort on Atlantic City’s iconic Boardwalk on the East Coast. It has shifted its attention all the way across the country to the West Coast with plans for a casino resort. However, this resort is in the Sacramento area of California.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida owns Hard Rock International. Also, they continue to expand its footprint in the real money casino gambling industry. In a recent post on The Sacramento Bee’s website Sacbee.com by Dale Kasler, details of the new casino and resort were released.

When Does The Hard Rock Casino Break Ground In New Sacramento California?

The Hard Rock International chain made it official that it has plans to partner with the Enterprise Rancheria Indian Tribe to construct a casino and hotel resort in Yuba County. The property will be built in close proximity to the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland.

Interestingly, people refer to the Hard Rock as the ‘rockin’ mega-casino’. Furthermore, this latest offering from Hard Rock seeks to become a major player. Moreover, this highly populated casino industry in this part of the state. Glenda Nelson is the tribal Chairwomen. She goes on record in a press release. She says “The Enterprise Rancheria is thrilled and honored to work with Hard Rock International, one of the world’s most recognized brands.”. After that, she says “a great fit for the brand.” The Hard Rock chain currently operates 11 casinos. Also, these 11 include one in Lake Tahoe.

The picture in the post shows ground being broken for the project, but right now the activity consists of preliminary site work. At this time, neither Hard Rock nor the Enterprise tribe were ready to release any specific details of the project.

While the specifics of this mega-casino are sure to be spectacular, the Sacramento Bee’s report was able to conclude the estimated cost and time frame for completion through the use of financial documents. According to information from credit-rating agencies reviewing the plans, the total cost is estimated to be around $440 million and it should be open sometime in October 2019 if everything goes according to plans. Two other casino projects are in the works for the area. Caesars Entertainment Corp. and the Buena Vista Band of Me-Wuk Indians are involved with one and the Wilton Rancheria tribe is planning to build the other.
