The Hampton Inn, The Holiday Express Of Shelbyville and the Omni Severin Hotel are the three best local hotels nearby in our opinion. The other options are the Comfort Inn, The Quality Service Inn, and the Super 8 Motel. The rates start at seventy dollars per night, but that is for the most affordable hotels and motels.

When you visit their official website, you will see that it says “Land And Sea” in bold. Sail away with them after you watch the horse races and gamble until you drop on one of their boats. They top of their site has four section, which are Gaming, Entertainment, Racing, and Dining.
Click on the Gaming bar and see different parts to choose from such as Slots, Hosts, Poker, Jackpot Winners Credit Applications, E-Tables, Promotions, Win/Loss Statements and Responsible Gambling. When you visit the slots section you there are brand new Slots to play at their casino and on the internet.
The thing I like about the “Slots” section of their website is that you can click on a video to see examples of their games. The dining and the entertainment are excellent at the Indiana Grand. The first thing you see when you visit the entertainment section of their site are The Grand Buffet, Winner’s Circle Brewpub & OTB, Center Cut and The Sidewalk Café that has Starbucks Coffee! I ate at the Grand Buffer and the Center Cut while I was there. I liked the Grand Buffer the best. Their steak was great quality and their waiter was extremely accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately they don’t have a hotel.
