One of the biggest poker events of the season is set to take place on Sunday, June 26 at the ARIA Resort and Casino. The representatives of the Las Vegas casino giant BetMGM have announced that they’ve made a deal with PokerGo that involves the final table of this year’s BetMGM Poker Championship and a $25K freeroll tournament.
The agreement was made between BetMGM which operates as a gambling wing of MGM Resorts and Entain and PokerGo, the world’s largest creator of poker content. Per the agreement, the Championship final table will be held this year at the PokerGo studio located at the property of the ARIA Casino.
Commenting on the deal, the Director of Poker at BetMGM, Luke Staudenmaier said that they were very pleased to be able to reach an agreement. He added that PokerGo is known for delivering the best content to poker players worldwide and his company is pleased to be able to welcome the BetMGM Poker Championship official partner.
The final table of the Championship will feature the six remaining players and is scheduled for June 26. Besides the final table, the PokerGo studio at Aria Casino & Resort will also host a $25K No-limit Texas Hold’em freeroll. This tournament is scheduled for June 22. It will feature the BetMGM online qualifiers. The freeroll is designed as a way to help players make the transition to live poker, and, at the same time, provide them a chance to score valuable prizes.
The places at the Championship and seats at the final table are still to be decided. Players will have their last chance to gain their seats this week by playing several BetMGM multi-stage satellites. The tournaments will be held at all four markets where BetMGM Poker is present. This includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ontario, and Michigan. Available packages are worth $6,000 and include a $6,000 buy-in, $700 for travel costs, and a 6-night stay at the Aria Casino & Resort.
