As the No. 12 seed in the Midwest Region, Oregon State’s tournament run includes victories against Tennessee and Oklahoma Sate as a solid underdog in each game. The biggest upset came on Saturday night against Loyola Chicago. The Beavers ended up as seven-point underdogs in the 65-58 victory.
What Are Oregon State’s March Madness Betting Odds To Win the NCAA Tournament?
Heading into Monday night’s Elite 8 matchup against Houston, the Beavers’ current winning streak stands at six games both straight-up and against the spread. They are 7.5-point underdogs in that matchup to keep this amazing run alive. Houston is the No. 2 seed in this region.

Following the opening two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Oregon State’s future odds to win the national title were set at +5000. Among the 16 remaining teams, only Syracuse (+6000) and Oral Roberts (+100000) had longer odds to win.
Immediately after Saturday’s Sweet 16 win, those odds dropped to +1400. Sunday’s four tournament games completed the field for the Elite 8.
With two games set for Monday and two more on Tuesday, the winners will advance to Saturday’s Final Four.

Monday’s other Elite 8 matchup pits the SEC’s No.3 Arkansas Razorbacks against the No. 1 Baylor Bears. The Bears were the top seed in the South Region after winning the Big 12 regular season title. Baylor has been opened a 7.5-point favorite to win and advance on.
The two other Elite 8 showdowns on Tuesday start with the No. 6 USC Trojans facing the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs. USC joins Oregon State and UCLA as a trio of Pac-12 teams in the Elite 8. Three of the No. 1 seeds still remain in the running for a national title. However, this year’s tournament has been filled with major upsets. The Big Ten only has Michigan as its lone representative. This was regarded as the strongest major conference this season.
