Everyone knows that Las Vegas is home to some of the most glamorous casinos in the world. The famous Strip and the old-school downtown area offer more than enough ways to try and hit it big. Below, we are going to cover the best Las Vegas shows in the entire entertainment industry.
The 5 Best Las Vegas Shows In The Entertainment Industry
In a recent post on www.forbes.com by Christina Liao, the top shows in Las Vegas was the hot topic. This is part of the Forbes Finds series. This covers the products, services, and experiences that might appeal to their readers.
Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano
Topping the list of the best shows in town was Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano. Taking residency status at Park MGM, the legendary musician and entertainer has been a huge hit. Most of her reworked hits are duplicated on the piano. However, the show is laced with jazz ensembles to add to the Las Vegas glitz. As a sidebar to the show, she has also opened up her vast fashion archive with an exhibition called “Haus of Gaga.” Now, check out the Youtube video “Lady Gaga – ‘Born This Way’ – Jazz and Piano – Park MGM, Las Vegas”
Caesars Palace added a circus tent outside its casino property to present its show, “Absinthe”. Some entertainment aficionados call this the best show in Las Vegas. It is hosted by Gazillionaire, whose roasting ability is legendary and rather offensive. The show also offers some jaw-dropping acts dating back to the cabarets of the late 19th century.
A Cirque Du Soleil Production
If you are looking for a Cirque du Soleil production that ramps things up, then “Le Reve-The Dream” should be on the list. This show offers a number of stunts along with dramatic costumes and amazing special effects. Tied to the water, there are aerial lifts and synchronized swimming. It is also filled with live singing, magic and an eye-popping 80-foot dive.
Magic has always been a big part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene. Mat Franco is the latest sensation with his show “Magic Reinvented Nightly”. It takes place at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. High on audience participation, he knows how to keep the crowd fully engaged and on the edge of their seats. Franco became a national phenomenon by winning America’s Got Talent competition in 2014.
Another Cirque du Soleil show attracting large crowds at the Bellagio is “O”. This is the company’s most well-known production and its biggest hit at the box office. The aquatic adventure is right at home at the casino resort that gained it fame with iconic water fountains. The divers steal the show with leaps from as high as 60 feet in the air.
Also featured is the Cirque du Soleil production “Love”. The show integrates the songs of the Beatles into intricate choreography and entertaining stunts. The use of trampolines and skate ramps add to the excitement. Love also incorporates a number of psychedelic elements right out of the ’70s to tie everything back into the music.
This is just a small sampling of the best entertainment Las Vegas has to offer. The actual list is almost endless with something for anyone looking for a change of pace from the casinos.
