He was playing a progressive slot called National Lampoon’s Vacation.
The casino tweeted out news of the big win on March 12. That actual tweet read:

Jamie may have been the biggest winner in recent days. Yet, big money jackpots have been popping up all over town this month. Local news sources close to VegasInternationalHotel.com also noted that Barbara from Mexico banked $15,214.62 playing a Fort Knox slot machine at Binion’s. This casino is located in the downtown section of Las Vegas. Making .50 bets, she walked away a big winner after three hours of play.
Binion’s was quick to tweet out this jackpot hit along with a picture of Barbara standing by the winning machine.
Also in the downtown area, another big winner hit a jackpot worth $11,890 on a penny slot machine. The Orleans Casio released the following tweet in conjunction with this big win:
“Penny slots jackpots just hit different! Congrats to the lucky winner of this $11,890 jackpot.”
Local Las Vegas player Elson also had a lucky trip to The Orleans. He walked away with an extra $14,230 after winning the jackpot on a Lightning Link slot. The casino tweeted out that win as well along with a picture of the lucky winner next to the winning machine .
The hits have just kept coming this month at The Orleans. Another player collected $40,000 on a video poker machine
. Playing $50 a hand on a Triple Double video poker machine, that player landed four aces with a kicker.
“Ronald hit it big with a jackpot win of $11,566.57 from a 50 cent bet this morning! Definitely, a great way to start your day.”
He was pictured holding the oversized check with the help of a pair of workers from Hooters on March 9.
A Dollar Storm machine at Rampart Casino paid out $13,771.74. Maria D. won more than $10,000 at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip. Her big win came on an 88 Fortunes progressive slot machine.
One final big winner claimed their jackpot in Northern Nevada near Reno. Chris J. was playing video poker at Grand Sierra Resort. He won $16,120 with a royal flush on Triple Play Draw Poker.
