One of the biggest draws for any land-based casino is big-win potential. Players know that their chances to walk away with a life-changing hit are not all that high. Yet, they also know that it is not impossible. That is why any type of progressive slot machine warrants a heavy volume of play. Since casinos in Nevada have been back in business since early June, big jackpots are taking place every day of the week.
On June 15, a lucky player at Club Fortune Casino in Henderson joined the list. She walked away with a $676,614 slots jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune progressive machine. Only known as Erica, the woman won in her own backyard as a resident of Henderson, Nevada.
Over the recent holiday weekend, the Cannery Casino in North Las Vegas released the following tweet:
“A Happy Independence Day Weekend came early for our lucky $12,000 winner on Red, White & Blue 10 Times Pay! slot machine.”
The Plaza Hotel Casino in downtown Las Vegas was also giving shout outs to lucky winners. One of its recent tweets noted a big win by one of its casino patrons as follows:
There was a picture of the winner in that tweet standing by a Crazy Money Deluxe slot machine. As per Nevada casino regulations, she was pictured holding a big stack of cash while wearing a mask.
The California Casino is another downtown Las Vegas gaming venue. The casino posted a picture of a masked Solomon celebrating his $5,000 Keno jackpot win. He was playing a .25 cent Caveman Keno machine. The tweet for that win read:
“Solomon was betting just a quarter when he hit a 7/7 Keno multiplier. Landing him a $5,000 jackpot! Sweet win Solomon!”
Over at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino as part of the Fremont Street Experience was another winning progressive jackpot announcement. This time a Las Vegas visitor from Tennessee was the big winner. This lucky player turned a two dollar spin into $7,500. The casino posted the following tweet:
The picture in the tweet was of the Triple Strike slot. The top prize for a two credit win was $7,500 for hitting triple 7’s.
This is just a small sampling of some sizeable wins in Nevada casinos. Most of the action is centered in Las Vegas since the state’s casinos reopened for business. The state governor shut things down on March 16 due to the spread of the coronavirus. The first venues reopened for business on June 4. He later decided that all casino workers and patrons need to wear masks at all times on the casino floor. Most of the visitors in town made the trip to gamble according to early reports.
